Jesse Bachrach, a Bay Area native, has worked with a variety of local nonprofit organizations for the past 17 years, including five years as the Finance & Administrative Director for Californians for Justice Education Fund. He has experience in development and program work in addition to his financial, administrative, and technology experience. His work has supported organizations ranging from queer youth development to homeless family services, but he is most passionate and committed to organizations working for social justice and systems change. Jesse especially loves geeking out in Excel and QuickBooks, coming up with formulas and solutions to make financial data more accessible for staff to work with.
Jesse has a masters in social work from San Francisco State University and a BA with honors in Ethnic Studies from Mills College. Though his MSW graduate work focused on community organizing, policy, and research, he is also a psychotherapist in training and is collecting hours towards LCSW licensure. When not behind his computer playing with Excel or seeing psychotherapy clients, Jesse can often be found hiking with his dog in the East Bay Regional Parks.
