Arif is an Associate Director at the Kaleo Center for Faith, Justice, and Social Transformation as well as a Master of Divinity Student at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Prior to Kaleo, he held posts at TakeAction Minnesota as Director of Movement Building, the Seasons Fund for Social Transformation as its Executive Director, and at Progressive Technology Project (PTP) as its Executive Director following seven years as PTP’s Capacity Building Program Director.
Arif is a graduate of the Year-Long Fellowship program at Rockwood Leadership Institute and an active member of his church where he participates in small group ministry and religious education. He is also a Board Member of the Movement Strategy Center, the Church of the Larger Fellowship, and an Advisory Committee member for MN Community Sings. In years past, he has served on a number of boards and advisory committees with organizations such as the Headwaters Foundation, the Minneapolis Foundation, and the Data Center.
But Arif’s work is just part of the story. The bigger story about Arif is the story of his family, specifically his wife and kids. He’s been blessed with a wonderful wife and two beautiful kids who are in so many ways the heart of his heart and his guides in this life.
